The Lanchester Mk.II Armoured Car was developed during the late 1920s as an improved successor to earlier wartime designs. Equipped with a rotating turret and machine gun, it served with British cavalry and colonial units in reconnaissance and internal security roles. Its reliability and mobility made it well suited to service across the Empire.
